With the performance Los abrazos, Manuel Mendive opens up at the XIII Biennial of Havana. Among renderings of the musical piece Quiéreme mucho, traditional choirs, the beat of the drums and the rooster song, the half-naked bodies of dancers painted by the artist. e song of the rooster will be the sign to begin the exhibition, where dierent techniques and languages will take place: videos, sculptures, metal relief surfaces and
paintings, his main theme turning to be, once more, the man together with mythical beings, strange for some, sensual for others and totally unknown for many, all become
