El Niño, renowned as a great improviser and a born sonero is definitely going for La cosa mala, a song that, no question about it, will be a hit on Cuban radio and television. The piece stands out as one of his trump cards among the 10 songs that are part of the CD De vuelta al barrio, his third production with the Egrem label, whose intro precisely names the CD.
These days, the orchestra El Niño y la Verdad is soon setting off on a tour throughout several cities of Europe such as Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and Paris, and in July and August they will set off on another tour throughout Havana neighborhoods. As a preliminary, this band will celebrate their first five years with a presentation, next June 29, at the La Piragua esplanade.
