The preseason of the Moto GP 2016 World Cup has already begun with the first tests at the International Circuit of Sepang (Malaysia), where it all started just as it finished. Jorge Lorenzo headed the race, followed by his Movistar Yamaha teammate, Valentino Rossi, and Dani Pedrosa, with Repsol Honda.

The new season has teed off with the same problem it had when it came to an end in 2015: the media argument between Valentino Rossi and Marc Márquez. The Urbino pilot can’t forget that Márquez worked with Jorge Lorenzo, thus taking his tenth title away from him. Likewise, there are significant modifications for motorcycles in 2016, since the new technical regulation includes the use of common electronics, the same fuel capacity and Michelin tires. Let’s hope that 2016 gives us a championship in which the battle is fought on the track rather than in the press offices.
