Countless initiatives aimed at fostering good practices in streets were carried out on Saturday November 28, as part of the closing ceremony of the 53rd National Road Safety Session, which was held across the country for over 20 days.
At the crowded 23rd Avenuein the Cuban capital city, attendees and guests witnessed the immediacy and responsibility of pedestrians, drivers, experts from the Comprehensive System of Medical Emergencies and the Red Cross as far ascoping with car accidents is concerned.
Recognition was given to drivers with outstanding behavior in 2015 and road safety education was stressed as the main method to cut down on accident rates.
