Details on the new Dakar Rally have already been aired, an edition that is likely to be the most spectacular of all time. The difference will be made by extreme temperatures, heights that had never been reached before and tests with nil chance to repair the vehicles. With 9 332 km to cover between Argentina and Bolivia, Buenos Aires will hear engines roar on January 3. After that, 13 stages with one day of rest are will define the name of the champion.

One of the new elements in upcoming edition will be the prologue to determine the starting order in the first leg. Many stages will combine surfaces with thin sand and rough terrains; even some rainfall has been forecasted. In one of the hottest legs, pilots will have to drive 

629 km. By the end of this leg, nobody will be allowed to repair the vehicle. The Dakar Rally will come to a close in Rosario, where the champions will take their victory lap after finishing the world’s toughest endurance race.
