Volkswagen brings a new variant of its Beetle. Its name is Dune and is only 10 mm higher than the standard version. Therefore, this car has not actually been conceived to go through non-asphalted irregular roads. It features some specific decorative elements and it’ll be marketed in the early 2016.

The modifications, if compared to the street Beetle, engulflarger spoiler and plastic pieces aimed at decorating the body and providing certain protection against scratches, among others. Another important aspect refers to 18-inch rims of its 235/45 tires. As for engine specifications, it’s powered by three gasoline and two diesel supercharged engines. The gasoline engines have 105, 150 and 220 CV, while the diesel ones pack 110 and 150 CV. Volkswagen had already announced some of the features of this model with a prototype that held the same denomination: Volkswagen Beetle Dune prototype.
