The five-day Titan Tropic Cuba mountain bike race was carried out throughout the western mountain ranges, plains, rivers, hills and paths, but always accompanied by picture-perfect landscapes and viewers that recognized the bravery of the participants.

This event is likely to take an important position in the island’s annual sports schedule. The top winners were the amazing home heroine Olga Echenique, who put an outstanding feather in the hat of her short sports career, and celebrated Colombian racer Diego Alejandro Tamayo, an athlete that proved his worth by winning the first two legs and standing on the podium in the other three segments, including the homestretch.Span’sIbon Zugasti, who also grabbed the title in the Senior Category (40-49 years old), was the runner-up.
