Salvatierra
Is considered as the first territory to be awarded with the City title in the State. It is located in the fertile Huatzindeo valley , which means "Place of beautiful vegetation." its architectural buildings such as the church and convent of Carmen surprise every visitor. Therefore, it is considered the third Colonial City of Guanajuato.
Yuriria
Is known for its huge lake, and its magnificent Monastery of the XVI century ; also has some archaeological vestiges ; Crater-Lake known as "La Joya "which is an extinct volcano which is dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe due to an image appeared in one of its rocks.
Jalpa de Cánovas, Purísima del Rincón
Is an old town founded in 1542 and offers to the visitors a stately air of natural stone streets . Its inherited from its colonial past some beautiful old buildings like the Hacienda de Jalpa and the Temple de la Misericordia and has natural landscapes dominated by large pecan orchard.

Tequila Circuit
In the southwest of the state, around Pénjamo and Cuerámaro exist some área protected by the designation of origin for the production of tequila. The Shroud , the Holy Mantle Studies
This is one of the most impressive exhibitions worldwide. for the first time in Latin America, the scientific evidence of the burial sheet that covered the body a man who suffered torture and death which the sacred history describes as the passion
of Jesus of Nazareth.
This exhibition includes over 500 related object on this matter, having as one of the principal pieces an original piece of the Shroud of Turin with traces of blood; Miñarro sculpture body, which reproduces every detail of this tortured and crucified
body as well as a reproduction of the Shroud, authorized by the Vatican.
