Elliott Erwitt is a first-class artist. He is one of the most legendary photographers of the world and has for more than 40 years moved people through works ruled by expressiveness and emotionality. Elliott enjoys using the camera with either the purpose of social denunciation or when performing its magnificent portraits: incredible works of great and pure art.
He has also immortalized Cuba with his camera and has not been able to be away from the island since 1964. At the age of 87, Erwitt has just returned to the island. He intends to continue to document the lives of the Cuban people, but also supports a project of documentary photography in collaboration with Havana Club. The Elliott Erwitt Havana Club 7 Fellowship exhibition was inaugurated on his last visit to Cuba.  It contains 35 great pictures that account for the history of this island from 1964 to 2015. The opening took place at the Gallery of the Rum Museum by Havana Club and will remain there until January. This exhibition came after the opening of the International Photography Fair in Amsterdam and was also possible thanks to the efforts of Havana Club, which is not only an excellent rum but also cultural product rooted in the Cuban identity.
