Recently, the 15th edition of the “Art Madrid'20 Contemporary Art Fair” was held, in which 41 galleries and almost 200 artists from different countries participated, with Spanish and Portuguese galleries standing out with their presence. On the other hand, only two from the American continent attended: “Collage Habana”, from the Cuban capital, and “Más Arte” from Ecuador, a workshop gallery from Quito, although several Latin American artists also exhibited their works in the halls of other countries. Likewise, a series of activities parallel to the Fair were held, such as Art Madrid-Projector 20, on video art, under the commission of Mario Gutiérrez, where various video artists have been involved by giving master classes, professional meetings and presentations, as well as performances, screenings of international festivals and small theoretical-practical workshops. In addition, there was the “One Project” program, with the title “Salvajes. La cage aux fauves”, whose curator, Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta, has shown a daring and transgressive commitment, unfolding a dialogue opportunity where various artists meet in a certain place to showcase their projects. The galleries participating in this program are DDR Art Gallery of Madrid, ATC Gallery of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Plastic Murs of Valencia and Kaplan Projects and MA Arte Contemporáneo of Palma de Mallorca.
