El DS 7 CROSSBACK

El DS 7 CROSSBACK es un nuevo modelo de la marca DS, creada por el grupo PSA para comercializar sus modelos más lujosos. Este, con aspecto de todoterreno, mide 4.57 m de longitud y estará a la venta en el último trimestre de 2017. Estará disponible con tres motores de gasolina y dos diésel, con opciones de cambio manual o automático. Todas las versiones llevan un sistema de parada y arranque automático del motor en las detenciones (Start&Stop). En la primavera de 2019 habrá además una versión híbrida enchufable de 300 CV llamada E-TENSE.

También en el último trimestre de este año KIA pondrá a la venta el Niro Híbrido Enchufable (Niro PHEV), el cual se diferencia de la versión no enchufable por tener un motor eléctrico más potente y una batería de mayor capacidad. El fabricante aseguró que con este nuevo banco de acumuladores puede recorrer más de 55 km en modo eléctrico, aunque todavía no hay cifras homologadas para este vehículo. El motor eléctrico del Niro PHEV da una potencia máxima de 60.5 CV y la batería es de 8.9 kWh de capacidad. Otra diferencia es que el maletero del Niro PHEV es 77 L más pequeño.

DS 7 CROSSBACK is the new model of DS brand, created by the PSA group to market its most luxurious models. This one, with an off-road look, is 4.57 m long and will be available for sale over the last quarter of 2017. It will be put out with three gasoline engines and two diesel units, with manual or automatic shift options. All versions carry an automatic stop-start system for the engine (Start & Stop). The spring of 2019 will see the birth of a pluggable hybrid version delivering 300 HP, named E-TENSE.

2018 KIA Niro Pluggable Hybrid

Also in the last quarter of this year, KIA is set to launch its Niro Pluggable Hybrid (Niro PHEV), which is different from the non-pluggable version because of the presence of a more powerful electric engine and battery with higher capacity. The automaker pointed out that the inclusion of this new bank of storage batteries allows it to cover over 55 km in electric mode, although there are no endorsed numbers for this vehicle to date. Niro PHEV’s electric engine delivers 60.5 HP and the battery’s capacity is 8.9 kWh. As another difference, Niro PHEV’s trunk is 77 L smaller.
