EL CONCURSO FOTOGRÁFICO “LA COCINA DE IDA Y VUELTA”, ORGANIZADO EN OCASIÓN DEL IX SEMINARIO INTERNACIONAL EXCELENCIAS GOURMET, TUVO SU CULMINACIÓN EN VILLA MANUELA, CON LA ASISTENCIA DE JOSÉ CARLOS DE SANTIAGO, PRESIDENTE DEL GRUPO EXCELENCIAS; ALFONSO MARÍN, SECRETARIO GENERAL DE LA ACADEMIA IBEROAMERICANA DE GASTRONOMÍA; Y NUMEROSOS DELEGADOS AL EVENTO.

El jurado, presidido por el artista del lente Julio Larramendi e integrado además por el crítico de arte José Ángel Téllez y este redactor, seleccionó, del más de un centenar de obras procedentes de España, México, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela, República Dominicana, Italia y Cuba, tres primeros premios: Wayta, de Marcelo Iturriaga Silva (Bolivia); Casabe de Monción, de Pedro Guzmán (República Dominicana); y la serie Platos especiales, de Juan Carlos Borjas (Cuba).

Las menciones correspondieron a Suspiros de quinua, de Diane Hernández (Cuba); La conquista, del proyecto CPARt (Yram Marrero, Yenelys I. Boada y Miguel Ángel Valdivia, Cuba); El arte de moler y remoler frijoles, de Brisol García (México); y la serie Color cubano, de Rubén Aja (Cuba).

Going and Returning to the Kitchen

The “Back-and-Forth Cuisine” Photographic Contest, organized by the IX Excelencias Gourmet International Seminar, came to a close in Villa Manuela with the presence of José Carlos de Santiago, president of the Excelencias Group; AlfonMarín, secretary general of the Ibero-American Gastronomy Academy and scores of guests.

The jury, presided over by artistic photographer Julio Larramendi and made up of art critic José ÁngelTéllez and the author of this note, handpicked from over a hundred works made by photographers from Spain, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Italy and Cuba, and gave three top prizes to: Wayta, by Marcelo Iturriaga Silva (Bolivia); Casabe de Monción, by Pedro Guzmán (Dominican Republic); and the series Platosespeciales, by Juan Carlos Borjas (Cuba).
