DAY 1 HAVANA
Arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Schedule according to flight. Accommodation and dinner.
DAY 2 HAVANA
Breakfast. Informative meeting, departure from the hotel to visit colonial Havana, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Walking tour through the historic center, its squares, fortresses and buildings built by the Spaniards between the 16th and 19th centuries, with opportunities for the purchase of handicrafts. In transit, visit to La Bodeguita del Medio and grand tour around Old Havana’s main streets and avenues. Stop at the Capitol. Lunch (one drink included) in a local restaurant. Continuation of the tour with panoramic view from the University of Havana and stop at the Revolution Square, with plenty of photo ops. Return to the hotel. The Tropicana Cabaret is a nightly optional.
DAY 3 HAVANA-CAYO COCO
Breakfast and time off until transfer to the Jose Marti airport to take flight to Cayo Coco. Arrival with transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation in an all-inclusive hotel.
DAY 4 CAYO COCO-CAMAGUEY
Breakfast and departure to the city of Camagüey, known as Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, grand tour around the historic center, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Visit to the San Juan de Dios Church and the like-name square. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon off for souvenir shopping. Accommodation and dinner. Night off.
DAY 5 CAMAGUEY-LAS TUNAS-GIBARA
Breakfast and departure for panoramic tour of the city of Las Tunas, the Cuban Capital of Sculptures or the Balcony of Eastern Cuba. Lunch at a local restaurant and continuation of the trip to Gibara, the White Village, where the Poor Film Festival comes around every year. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel. Night off.
DAY 6 GIBARA-HOLGUÍN-SANTIAGO
Breakfast and departure to the city of Holguin, known for the “City of Parks”. Panoramic visit to the local Revolution Square. Visit to the cigar factory. Tour up the Loma de la Cruz. Lunch. Tour around the Calixto García Park, the Las Flores Park and the Plaza de la Marqueta. Departure to Santiago de Cuba via Bayamo, with panoramic views of the city. Continuation of the trip to Santiago. Accommodation and dinner. Night off.
DAY 7 SANTIAGO
Breakfast. Departure to visit the El Cobre Sanctuary. Grand tour around Cuba’s second city, a burg steeped in history and music, capital of eastern Cuba and birthplace of the Son music and the Cuban Revolution. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to the Moncada Barracks, the Céspedes Park, the Morro Castle, the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery and the Diego Velásquez House. Return to the hotel. Dinner and night off.
DAY 8 SANTIAGO-BARACOA
Breakfast and departure to Baracoa via La Farola, visit to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Baracoa, home to La Cruz de Parra, the first symbol of Catholicism in Cuba. Visit to Fort Matachin. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel. In the evening, optional visit to the Casa de la Trova.
DAY 9 BARACOA-PLAYA GUARDALAVACA
Breakfast and departure to Guardalavaca. In transit, jeep safari around Cayo Saetía to feast eyes on the local dazzling flora and wildlife. Lunch and time off to swim on the beach. Continuation of the trip. Check in at selected all-inclusive hotel.
DAY 10GUARDALAVACA
Day off to enjoy the beach.
DAY 11 GUARDALAVACA - HOLGUIN
Breakfast and time off until transfer pickup to the Frank País airport in Holguín, according to flight schedules.
