From Penedés, where the Torres family bought the first grapevines back in the 18th century, the exclusive universe of the multi-award-winning Bodegas Torres will whet the senses of connoisseurs eager the taste one of the world’s finest spirits come the 20th edition of the Habano Festival.
Torres brandies 10, 15, 20 and Jaime I (30 years) will captivate attendees who are always thankful to the company’s presence and willing to embrace these products when it comes to genuine drinking gems.
Even though the distilling process is longer and costlier due to the use of the homemade Charentais method, in the same breath it allows Torres brandies to concentrate the original scents of the wine, a reason why it’s considered one of the finest spirits of all.
A harmonious and homogenous aging is achieved when the products are aged in 300-lt. oak barrels, thus adding the necessary tannins to the spirit that eventually whip it into shape and guarantee the final structure. Therefore, the end result is a delicious, aromatic, intense, expressive and voluptuous brandy.

Torres Brandy 10

TASTING NOTE
Very old brandy of dark topaz with slight beams of old gold. Intense aroma, living bouquet with warm spices notes (cinnamon and vanilla). Oily and tannin-rich to the taste, it evolves all the way to a bombastic and persistent aftertaste in which the aromatic shades of the oak barrel pop up.

TASTING NOTE
Amber color with gilt beams. Intense, elegant and delicate scent. Smoked and dark-toasted notes prevail around an acute scent of cedar. Vanilla, cinnamon and dry fruits in a spiced and oaky aftertaste. Complex in the mouth and full-bodied structure, oily and rich in tannins. Shades of toasted oak in a persistent, concentrated and deep aftertaste.

Torres Brandy 20

DISTILLING AND AGING
Double distilling of parellada and ugni blanc grapes. The aging process is done in select oak barrels. White oak casks are used during the first year, and then the brandy is poured into older barrels in an effort to prevent excessive aromatic influence coming from newer wood.

BOTTLING
75 cl and 70 cl.
TASTING NOTE
The end result is an aged brandy of slight dark amber color. Deep and warm aroma with pruned and dry fruit aftertaste. It boasts elegant spices notes (vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg). It’s oily and bombastic to the taste.

TASTING NOTE
Dark mahogany color. Smell of dry fruits (toasted hazelnut) with vanilla and tofu notes. Round and smooth to the taste. Spicy and sensual taste chipped in by an aging process in old oak casks. This aged brandy awes for its persistent and well-balanced aftertaste.
