John Lennon´s cars
John Winston Lennon was a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He rose to fame with The Beatles, "the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed band" in pop history.
And John Lennon, involved in the media triumph of pacifist alternative music and protest song, soon met economic results out of his brilliant career, which allowed him to purchase spectacular cars, such as a sports Ferrari 330 GTS 2 + 2, a glamorous Mercedes-Benz and a luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom V, the most iconic one.
In 1970, already in the United States, the car was used by The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. Since 1977, it has been at the Royal British Columbia Museum, which lends it for events and exhibitions.
