For seven years, José María de Francisco, director of Estampa, has opted for a fair where collecting takes a sociocultural dimension. The challenge of the organizing committee of the fair that he leads is precisely that each edition has a careful attention to private collecting, to make the art market grow socially and culturally.
His experience in the audiovisual market makes Chema de Francisco a luxury interviewee, this time to collect the details of the 26th edition of one of the longest-lived art fairs in Spain.
“Estampa has the participation of seventy-five galleries of contemporary art and five institutional projects. It involves about a thousand national and international artists. This edition, co-organized by Ifema, means the consolidation of Estampa as the great autumn event of the art market in Spain”.
