- Another capital for Latin music
Concerts by more than twenty renowned Cuban and foreign artists, workshops on music and a cultural products fair will be taking place place this summer at the international event Varadero Josone Jazz & Son. The son, rumba, jazz and all the popular dance music of the Island will gather to put together the soundtrack of Parque Josone, located in Cuba´s first tourist destination: Varadero.
The outstanding Cuban musician Issac Delgado, artistic director of the event, has confirmed the attendance of national artists and bands such as Septeto Santiaguero, Ernán López-Nussa, Gente de Zona, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Osaín del Monte, Pancho Amat, Daymeé Arocena, Yissy García, Alejandro Falcón, Michel Herrera and “Cucurucho” Valdés, among other young and consecrated artists, such as Horacio “El Negro” Hernández.
International stars such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, José Alberto “El Canario”, Álvaro Torres and American jazz trumpeter Nicholas Payton will come to this great party, which tries to position the largest spa in the country as a cultural destination, as well.
