The artistic performance agency Turarte SA, part of the Cubasol group, is the entity responsible for producing and marketing the Cuban artistic talent through music, dances and cultural animated shows. This agency works with the various formats that are displayed in the network of touristic facilities in the country and abroad.
Mirelys Pinto Hernandez, commercial and artistic development director of Turarte S.A., comments on products, services and business prospects of the agency.
"We counsel on technical and artistic production of shows, designing and costumes confection. We also advice on scenography, lighting, sound and other specialties related to artistic presentations in the Cuban tourism industry and international markets such a Latin America, Europe and the US", she states.
"We specialize in large format artistic productions or blockbusters such as Tropicana Havana, from the emblematic Cabaret Tropicana; Parisien from Hotel Nacional de Cuba; Tropicana Varadero and Tropicana Santiago de Cuba. We design shows of medium and small format, at the request of customers with an infrastructure of the highest artistic and technical level according to the worldwide standards."
"During late 2015 and early 2016 we did a cultural exchange in the United States. This show was promoted through an American company that asked us for a performance of eight pairs of dancers for El Tucán Cultural Center in Miami. They displayed a terrific showmanship demonstrating the extraordinary welcome that Cuban music and dance have in the US. In January, we did a tour with fifty Cuban artists around Uruguay and Chile. It was the first performance of our artists there and they enjoyed a wide acceptance, opening up new job prospects for this year, as in Mexico, Venezuela, Canada, France, Hungary and Greece".
