A number of cultural conditionals eased the way in for pastas and pizzas to join the family table, in perfect harmony with pork meat, beans, vegetables, legumes and highly-sweetened desserts.
Skepticism sort of set in at the outset –as it always happens with new things. The lack of rice, porridge and vegetables raised eyebrows about a somewhat distant and faraway cuisine. However, comprehension and assimilation soon wiped out all doubts about it.
