Therefore, nothing compares to attending one of the events organized by the members of the El Balcón de Bayamanaco, a smokers’ club made up of Cuban sommeliers, experts, cigar rollers, tasters and aficionados of the world’s best premium cigars.

Each month, these pleasure discoverers huddle in a bid to pry into and wallow in the ideal combinations between cigars and drinks, all that much in an ambience that enriches many other cultural expressions related to one of the best-known Cuban products.

Pairings with different spirits, like cognacs, brandies, tequilas, rums from Cuba and other parts of the world, liquors, wines, champagnes and even cocktails, have been matched by the Balcón membership, let alone lots of bolder combinations that have included coffee, chocolates and dishes from Cuban and international cuisine.
