For Durero Caribe S.A, Cuba’s overall tobacco entrepreneurial system is its top customer. Some nine years ago they’ve been working together and it’s both pleasing and prideful to know that by making cases and other necessary components for the presentation of the world-famous Habanos, we’re contributing to get an all-Cuban product.

In our facilities we make all kinds of cardboard cases for either exports or the domestic market in hard currency. In addition, we build two authorization lines that spruce up the wooden boxes of the Romeo y Julieta and Montecristo brands. As far as bands and ribbons are concerned, we work for the Cohiba, Hoyo de Monterrey and Trinidad brands, as well as for the Casa del Habano franchise.

Another assembly line is the one devoted to cardboard protectors for different kinds of wooden boxes, like Habanos, S.A.’s specialties. We also deal with the printing of advertising brochures, including the pincushions distributed in different fairs and events, as well as other printings related to the world of Cuban tobacco.

At the same time, Durero Caribe S.A. builds the cases for machine-produced cigars made by Internacional Cubana del Tabaco S.A., and for approximately a year Durero Caribe S.A. provides Brascuba Company with the largest chunk of open-top boxes for its main cigarette brands coming out of that factory, such as Cohiba, Hollywood, Popular, H. Upmann, and other export-oriented brands
