GRUPO EXCELENCIAS HAS FOCUSED ON CREATING SPACES FOR THE EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES, TRAINING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS WITH RENOWNED INTERNATIONAL SPECIALISTS

Grupo Excelencias Panama will develop four activities this year focused on Chiriquí: a Touristic Gastronomic Tour, a Course for Events Organizers, the II Students Congress of Hotel Management and Tourism UIPTY16, and the "Boquete Gastronómico” Fair.
These events, beyond its intrinsic participation, are also a guide for those who wish to know the different, enchanting and hidden Panama that fascinates those who discover it. Touristic Gastronomic Tour
A wide-ranging program during July 11 to 16, with activities such as the Cigar and Rum Tour, The Best of Cerro Punta (Barriles archeological site and Finca Drácula Orchid Farm), the Coffee Tour (Lérida Farm), the Adventures Tour (canopy, rafting, aquaadventure and hiking) and Green Tour (garden produce and fruits planting).
“Boquete Gastronómico” Fair
During July 15-16, we shall hold this fair in Arcoiris de la Feria de las Flores Hall in Boquete. As part of the activities programmed for the fair are:
- The Tasting Hall, with the participation of wines, beers, coffee, and whiskies
- The Coffee Bar, where coffee brands will be able to exhibit their products and a group of four barmen will do the specialized service.
- The Presentations Stand where demonstrations of live cooking and products, etc. will take place.
II Students Congress on Hotel Management and Tourism UIPTY16
Two years after the first event, this university will face the challenge to organize the II Students Congress of Hotel Management “The Impact of Marketing in the Service Industry” with the mission of reaching more students of tourism specialty. This congress, during July 11 to 13, pursues to propose the Hospitality Industry motto in Panama: “We are Hospitality.”
The Hacienda Los Molinos Hotel premises in Boquete district, Chiriquí province will be the venue.

WE ARE HOSPITALITY

Tourism initial days history can be traced back to the days on which people would go from one place to another motivated by reasons not related to leisure time. By mid XX century, with the booming rush of Congresses, Conventions, Fairs, etc., tourism multiplied and only on account on it, millions of people travel today around the world. This is why Grupo Excelencias and Noun Eventos propose, during July 11 to 15, the training workshop for all those interested in coordinated touristic efforts such as:
-OPE (Professional Organization of Events)
-Travel agents, guides, and tourism technicians.
-Students from hotel management, gastronomy, and tourism faculties.
-Hotel managers, hostal, restaurant, and bar owners, etc.
-Management personnel from tourism authorities, its headquarters and provincial representations.
-Entrepreneurs in general.

Program's general topics: events classification, fairs, exhibitions, space distribution, current situation of hotel management, among others.

Course modality: blend-learning
Theoretical lessons are dictated online in a virtual classroom that includes chats, discussion forums, and practical works aiming to encourage the student's creativity as he will be able to freely regulate how and when to study from any city in Panama, easily from his home or office, with the help of tutors who, during the whole learning cycle, will assist them in a customized fashion.
Specialization fee.
Limited quota (25 students)
Registration: USD $100.00 (Exemption from paying for the participants in the III Excelencias Gourmet International Congress, October, 2015).
Fees: six of USD $150.00 each (with a 20% discount for the participants in the 2015 October Congress and with the total material of the study included).
50% of the course, USD $360.00 (for three months: June, July and August) should be paid before Friday June 3.
Remaining 50% of the course, USD $360.00 (for three months: September, October and November) should be paid before Friday September 2.
