Art in Puerto Vallarta
You probably know by now that Puerto Vallarta is a one-and-only destination teeming with attractions too hard to find anywhere else for a tourist spot. One of those peculiarities is the fact that is increasingly becoming a reference point for Art Galleries in Mexico and around the world.
As a standard-bearer of this upswing, it’s been a decade the Art Walk exhibit was first organized. At that time there were half a dozen galleries. Now there are 16 for the upcoming season. The grand opening was on October 26 and from that day on there are expositions and courtesy cocktails every Wednesday in an effort to bring art closer to local s and visitors, and create a perfect atmosphere to enjoy the works of great artists in the company of friends. That’ll be an exquisite tour around the downtown area because the galleries are all at a nice walking distance.
Enjoy this weeklong opportunity; walk in freely and take your time to watch, chat and take home a high-octane piece of art that will for sure become a part of your personal heritage and memories.
The participating galleries are: Corsica, Beatriz Narvaez, Omar Alonso, Galeria des Artistas, Leonardo, Galeria 8, Galeria Vallarta, Galeria Arte Latinoamericano, Galeria Corona, Galeria Uno, Nelly, La Nana, Galeria de Ollas, Galeria Pacifico, Arte Popular Mexicano and Sergio Bustamante. You’ll find far more information about Art Walk’s art galleries in hotels or travel desks around the town’s main square.
