Giorgio G is an internationally renowned brand that has put its smart money on Cuba for years. What can you say about the historic relation with the island?
Over the past 15 years our Italian brand Giorgio G. has been selling its fashion outfits in Cuba and it has been greatly acclaimed by female buyers. Our designs come out of the passion I’ve always felt for both the fashion and beauty of this great country, as well as the contagious happiness of the Cuban people.
Could you tell us more about your relation with habanos?
We’ve always had a close relationship with the habano world, and as time has rolled on we’ve found together targeting the same goal: making women dress elegantly in line with the sensual and youthful style we’ve followed, and stressing on every detail of our fashion in order to make a difference in every event.
We’ve learned that Giorgio Gucci plans to open a new boutique store in Cuba in 2016, where other prestigious fashion brands are also going to be on sale. Could you share further details with us?
For the 2016 spring-summer season, thanks to the valuable and professional support provided by CIMEX S.A., we’ll be part of a prestigious project that includes the presence in Havana of famous Italian luxury brands, all of them marked by their international prestige. We’re talking about multi-brand Giorgio G. VIP Boutique, nestled in Manzana de Gomez Hotel’s shopping mall, where we’ll have the official distribution of Armani’s and Versace’s collections. The list of fashion lines comprises Armani Collezioni, Versace Collection, Armani Jeans, Versace Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear. We’re working really hard to guarantee the success of this project, and we’re confident we’ll make it together.
