MONTECRISTO DANTÉS, ROMEO Y JULIETA CAPULETOS AND TRINIDAD TOPES ARE LAUNCHED AS THREE EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTS BY HABANOS, S.A.

Exclusiveness always entails value added, an extra that captivates and sows expectations. Waiting for new things is never in vain; it represents an investment, a warranty and the gateways to a different element. That’s why Habanos, S.A. is showcasing in the 18th Habano Festival the Ediciones Limitadas 2016: Montecristo Dantés, Romeo y Julieta Capuletos and Trinidad Topes, three gems that have been conceived to dazzle, a concept that knows no bounds in terms of quality.
The Ediciones Limitadas are highly acclaimed and anticipated by enthusiasts every year. They are marked by the fact that their vitolas are not included in the regular range of the brand’s portfolio and stand out for the thorough selection of their leaves –wrapper, filler and binder-, which have been aged for over two years.
 The wrapper of these habanos, taken from the upper foliar levels of sun-shaded tobacco plant, is another characteristic that singles them out. They are darker than the wrapper of the vitolas that make up the brand’s regular range.
 All of the habanos comprised by the Ediciones Limitadas are Totally Rolled by Hand with Long Filler and leaves harvested in Vuelta Abajo, in the region of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, in limited quantities as usual, by Cuban expert cigar makers who do their best to meet the expectations of the most demanding habano buffs.

Ediciones Limitadas 2016
Montecristo Dantés (ring gauge 48 x 167 mm long), is a thick-to-midsize habano with elegant format and mild-to-strong taste. What’s more, it’s the first “Hermoso” (ring gauge 48) launched within the Montecristo brand. This limited edition is presented in a 10-unit special box. Romeo y Julieta Capuletos (ring gauge 53 x 153 mm long). Capuletos introduces the “Sobresalientes” factory vitola in the market, a new one in Habanos’ portfolio. With this mildly strong habano, enthusiasts will enjoy the brand’s balanced and scented blend in a totally new format. It’s marketed in a 25-unit common box.
Trinidad Topes (ring gauge 56 x 125 mm long) is the latest addition to the Ediciones Limitadas 2016. This vitola, also a one-of-a-kind within Habanos’ portfolio, features the brand’s thickest ring gauge after Trinidad Vigía (54 x 110 mm), thus showing a clear-cut trend to round out its traditional portfolio of medium gauge with new references to thick gauge. With a mildly strong taste, Trinidad Topes comes in 12-unit Semi Boîte Nature boxes.
