- A look at Latin America from Art Marbella
In the fourth edition of Art Marbella -the modern and contemporary art fair that took place between July 21 and 25 at the Palacio de Congresos “Adolfo Suárez,” in Costa del Sol- there were fewer galleries represented, as its organizers preferred to offer more space for exhibitors and special projects.
Quality vs. quantity is synonymous with maturity in an event that can already afford to choose its participants, among which there was a broad representation of South and North America, which, in some way, allowed the European public to approach the work of the creators of this side of the world.
Marbella City Council awarded -for the first time in the history of the Fair- a five thousand euros prize for the acquisition of the work Exercises on abstraction, serie V, by Bilbao artist Erlea Maneros Zabala, which will become part of the collection of the Museo de Grabado.
