Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze Prototipe
Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze is a prototype characterized by the look of a new off-road vehicle to be manufactured by Volkswagen in the future. This crossover will be smaller than the Tiguan and the Touareg. It’s 4.13 m long and the trunk volume capacity is nearly 300 L, so it’s not much if we take into account the size of the car. The convertible bodywork is not a common resource in a4-wheel-drive car, and the end model won’t be necessarily just like that. However, it’s actually attractive.
It carries a 1.0 L gasoline engine under the hood, with direct injection and supercharged by a turbocharger that delivers 110 HP. The seven-gear transmission is automatic (DSG). According to preliminary data aired by the German manufacturer, Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.3 s, with top speed of 188 km/h. As for the gas intake, it averages 5 L/100 km, while the fuel tank can store 40 L. Most of the functions can be activated by a tactile pad on the dashboard. T-Cross was launched with a predictive driving system that detects whether the car is traveling on asphalt or ground roads, so it activates a specific driving mode for each surface.
