Peugeot Traveler is a van designed to carry many people, available with three bodywork sizes: Compact 4.61 m, Standard 4.96 m and Large 5.31 m; all of them large enough to carry up to 9 passengers. Both width and height are similar in the three cases, 1.92 and 1.90 m respectively. The Traveler has been manufactured on the modular platform nicknamedEMP2 by Peugeot, the same one used with the Peugeot 308.

In addition to the sizes, there are three versions that can be identified due to the position of the seats and the onboard equipment. The denominations are: Combispace, Shuttle and Shuttle VIP. As for the engines, they are all diesel: 1.6 BlueHDi 95 - 115 HPand 2.0 BlueHDi 150 - 180 HP. The 95 HPmodel features a five-shift manual gearbox or a six-gearversion(ETG6), while the 180 HPmodeloffers automatic transmission with up-to-par converter and six gears(EAT6). The rest of the models just carry the six-gear manual transmission.
