Castillo del Morro, El Castillo de la Real Fuerza, El Castillo de la Punta and El Castillo del Príncipe… are symbols of a Wonder City that celebrates in 2019 the 500th anniversary of its foundation. This city was paid tribute by Habanos S.A. with the launch of San Cristóbal brand back in 1999, with vitolas that were named after the Spanish fortresses built in the 16th-18th century period.
The brand, which has been very successful over the past two decades, stands out for its gorgeous presentation that gets enhanced by the most beautiful and refined fittings among the youngest Habano brands, according to experts.
The blend delivers soft-to-medium note and it has been made with leaves hailing from Vuelta Abajo, Totally Rolled by Hand with Long Filler. Authentic exquisiteness to be enjoyed by connoisseurs.
Calles Series was launched some years later, in 2006, and it comprised such vitolas as Mercaderes, Oficios and Muralla, only available at Casas del Habano. Habanos S.A. recently unveiled a vitola in Bulgaria, Prado, in allusion to the emblematic boardwalk of Havana, which is available in the 10-unit case, just like the rest of exclusive products for specialists and Casas del Habano.
Special Series and Humidors have been designed and uniquely made by Cuban artisans, thus increasing the arsenal of the most representative cigars related to the Cuban capital.
In the 21st Habano Festival, February 18-22, San Cristóbal de La Habana brand takes center stage and its vitolas’ distinguished aroma and unrivaled taste will be pleasing those who love the excellence of their making.
