EXCELLENCES in Villa Clara
Elements as sun, beach, history, culture, city intermingled in the tour made on the occasion of the presentation of Villa Clara province as another tourism option and of issue No. 30 of the Caribbean Tourism Excellence magazine. The plane of Aerogaviota Company landed at Las Brujas Airport and its 32 passengers began a journey of pleasant surprises on a trip that began at the villa and was extended to Santamaría where the 4-star Sol Cayo Santamaría Hotel is being built with 300 rooms.
Tour operators, receivers, transportation agents and journalists knew from first hand all the plans devised by Gaviota S.A. which this entity began implementing in this area.
FROM THE INTERIOR On a comfortable bus of Transtur Company, we drive along the 48-km of a causeway that links the cays with the large island and that recently were awarded the Alcántara Ibero-American Prize for its constructive and ecological values. We arrived at San Juan de los Remedios to get acquainted with almost 500 years of the history of the Eight Village founded by Spain. We walked along the route headed by Che in his Cuban city, visiting statues and monuments erected as a homage paid to his presence in these sites. We also got acquainted with the rich history and the intense cultural life of this city.
EXCELLENCES: A SOUND STATEMENT Tourism authorities, entrepreneurs and executives of Villa Clara province gathered at Horizontes Los Caneyes Hotel for the presentation of Caribbean Tourism Excellence magazine No. 30 dedicated to this province. The President of the Provincial Assembly of the People's Power, Alexis Melgarejo Falero, thanked the efforts made so that Villa Clara province were widely covered in the issue No. 30 of the magazine and stated that these links will continue being strengthening. María Caridad González, the Permanent Correspondent of the magazine in Cuba, informed the attendants about all the wide services offered by Excellences in both printed material and modern digital means.
