ASTÉRIX PARK

The Magic Potion of Amuse

Following the spirit of the adventurer shown by this little hero of the comic, entertainment at the Park has been designed throughout different stages of history in seven areas, each one with its own historical milieu: from the French village until our days. The Park has over forty attractions available, among which excels a wooden roller coaster, "Tonnerre de Zeus" raising to 30 m high and at a speed of 80km/h. At the Grand Lac, visitors can sail on mysterious Galhre or live the breath-taking trip along the rails of Goudurix, with its dangerous eights. Astérix Park celebrates now its tenth anniversary in 1999, thus a water attraction has been added for this occasion, the new Oxygénarium where visitors go through different chambers. They should take all the oxygen they are able to breath to descend from the highest point. To celebrate this decade, a French Festival is held during the whole season. Each month, every area of the Park has a party. Astérix Park is recreated with the stories of this hero.
