This is the ideal scenario for the practice of water sports as windsurfing, scuba diving, diving, sailing or deep-sea fishing in over 400 km of beaches found along the coast of the Dominican Republic. For Golf Lovers If baseball is the national sport of the Dominicans, golf is the favorite one of visitors and golfers for its excellent greens where some have been designed by such outstanding personalities as Robert Trent Jones and Pete Dye. In the National District, golf is played in the Santo Domingo Country Club, Cayacoa, Isabel Villas and San Andrés. Cumayasa Golf Club and the Metro Country Club are located toward the east.

In the Depth of the Sea The Dominican Republic is the favorite site for diving lovers since they can enjoy from impressive sites of coral reef and fish sanctuaries to ship wreckage and old galleons. In the Central Cordillera, the peak is surrounded by magnificent spots where abundant transparent waters spring for the delight of adventure tourism lovers. Excursions and special routes by bike are arranged along the hills or rural trails, green jungles and small towns with which tourists can be in contact with nature.
