As in previous editions, Habanos S.A. is coming up this time around with some products the company has labeled as Special Series, Limited Editions and exclusive items for travel retail and duty-free outlets through the entire network of exclusive Habano dealers around the world. Either way, these are limited editions marked by thorough manufacture and design, handmade Habanos rolled with leaves from the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis tobacco plantations that have been aged for at least a couple of years. The Special Series can only be found in the network of Habano House franchises scattered all around the globe.

Partagas porcelain mug SerieS P No. 1 Featuring an amazing decoration of golden fonts on a black backdrop, this mug is dedicated to the Partagas brand and contains 25 Petit Piramides (ring gauge 50, 127 mm long). This new product for the Duty Free & Travel Retail markets will be rolled out by Habanos S.A. within the framework of the coming Cannes Fair in October 2009.

Selection of 3-Habano case Unveiled for the duty-free market by Habanos S.A. in October 2008 during the Cannes Fair, where it grabbed the prize to the Best Design (humidifier-equipped cigar tubes) and was called the Best New Tobacco Product for the Duty Free & Travel Retail Markets in that same year by the Duty Free News International magazine published by Raven Fox Publishing House. This case gathers an ideal combination of three of the most successful vitolas launched by the company in recent years: Petit Edmundo (ring gauge 52, 110 mm long) from Montecristo; Short Churchills (ring gauge 50, 124 mm long) from Romeo y Julieta, and Petit Robusto (ring gauge 50, 102 mm long) from Hoyo de Monterrey.

Ancient Humidor Among the new products Habanos S.A. will roll out in 2009, there’s a replica of the Ancient Humidor, a launch that in recent years has become one of the most sought-after items among lovers of Habanos and their specialties. It’s the replica of a humidor from the mid 1950s dedicated to the emblematic Montecristo brand. It contains 50 Double Coronas (ring gauge 49, 194 mm long) and recreates all the original craftsmanship features through the use of precious wood. Only 350 replicas are slated to go on sales.

O’Reilly Case A fancy case of the Habanos Collection dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the San Cristobal de La Habana brand, featuring the O’Reilly vitola (ring gauge 56, 160 mm), specially designed for this series of 1,000 replicas containing 20 units apiece.
