Fitur 2000 witnessed the presence of Excellences Group and was a success in terms of audience, this contributed to consolidate our "veteran" publications and also to introduce the issues in foreign languages and the professional bulletin.

Excellences magazine was also present in Fitur and was one of the most visited booth. What was the secret? The most Caribbean of them all was Evaristo, the barman of the famous Havana’s Floridita Restaurant. Thanks to his Mojito and the support extended by Havana Club, we could make it, the queues to taste it were endless. Twenty beautiful girls represented Excellences Group in all pavilions, presenting every exhibitor or professional with our magazines. During this week, our publications also grew. We became the only media in the world with a tourism-oriented magazine dedicated to the Caribbean in five languages: Spanish, English, German, French and Italian. We launched a new professional bulletin titled Caribbean News, whose issue No. 1 was distributed in the fair, led to all professionals of tourism and the new website was also presented: www.excelencias.com.
