As is already a tradition in each Biennial of Havana, the “Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales” (FCBC), through its network of galleries, will have a special role in the 13th edition.
HB, a mega exhibition of Cuban art in its fourth edition, continues to legitimize its presence as the largest exposition and within the program of collateral samples of the event, aiming to promote and commercialize an extensive and heterogeneous catalog of artists that involves different generations of plastic arts in Cuba, taking up the third floor of the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, the Collage Habana gallery and the Ensamble workshop, located in the downtown boulevard of San Rafael.
In its conception and organization, three promoters and marketers of art in Cuba are present in HB: Génesis Galerías de Arte, Galería Habana and FCBC, whose curatorial committee is made up this year by María Milián, Hilda M. Enríquez, Miriam P. Casanellas, Olga Lidia Triana, Darys Vázquez and Chrislie Pérez.
