To travel in Cuba by air you can book through the commercial offices of Cubana de Aviacion, Aerocaribbean and Aerogaviota, or through your travel agency and tourism bureaus.

By land, the tourist bus company Viazul provides services, whose tickets can be booked at travel agencies, commercial offices or directly on the web: www. viazul.cu. Other tourist buses make trips between different tourist destinations or around them such as Transtur, Transgaviota and Bustour. It is also possible to book interprovincial trips through National Buses in their commercial offices and terminals. Another option for the transfer is through Ferrocarriles de Cuba and its newly restored road network.

Taxis Cuba, official taxi company in Cuba provides services on the road, through travel agencies, or by booking directly on its website www.cubataxi.cu, in addition to its D´taxi application. Its daytime rate is 0.60 cents per km and at night is 0.80 cents plus 1.00 CUC for the start-up of the vehicle. This company also has other vehicles such as classic cars, two-seater coco taxis, minibuses and jeeps.

There are two types of private, collective taxis that generally follow a route and cost 1.00 CUC, and taxis that are outside the tourist centers which, depending on the distance and time of day, have different prices that are negotiable. It can also be booked through travel agencies in classic cars with a value of 30 CUC. In many cities of the Island there are the so-called Bicitaxis whose price varies by city and specifically in Havana they charge approximately 1.00 CUC per km.

Another mode of transport is horse carriages and motorcycles that, like in Santiago de Cuba and other cities, transfer hundreds of people a day for 30.00 CUP. Car rental can be made at airports, rental points and hotels through Transtur and Rex agencies, or through travel agencies such as
