The XXIV Encuentro Internacional de Danza en Paisajes Urbanos Habana Vieja: Ciudad en Movimiento (24th “Habana Vieja” International Meeting of Dance in Urban Landscapes: City on the Move) will take place during April 3-7 in the Historic Center of Havana, declared by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Organized by Danza Teatro Retazos and Havana´s Historian Office, this festival is a platform for the presentation and exchange between dancers, choreographers and related artists.
The International Meeting of Dance in Urban Landscapes, founded by Isabel Bustos, Premio Nacional de la Danza 2012 (2012 National Dance Prize,) brings together very diverse trends in dance. In addition to the presentations of shows in public spaces, master classes and workshops will be given, and there will be exhibitions, audiovisual screenings and other proposals that will be part of daily programs.
