Bugatti Chiron 2016

Those who dream ofmightier sports cars have been waiting for years for the replacement of Bugatti Veyron. Now the time has come in 2016 with the Chiron model, a racing car that was showcased as a prototype in 1999, nicknamed 18•3 Chiron. It recalls the last name of Louis, a pilotwho raced with the Italian brand in the 1920s and 1930s. Chiron’s credentials are power (1 500 HP) and “limited” top speed of 420 km/h.

With a carbon fiber coupé-like bodywork, two seats and central engine, Bugatti Chiron is 4.54 m long, 2.04 m wide and 1.21 m high. Both the 2005 Veyron and the 2016 Chiron spun off from the 1999 prototype, so they have many things in common, both internal and external. The power unit is similar, W16 (sixteen cylinders in two V8 bedplates) with 8.0 L cubic capacity and four turbochargers. However, it has been redesigned in extreme with bigger turbochargers, accompanied bytwo injectors per cylinder (32 in all), carbon fiber induction conduits and new titanium exhaust system.
