How to cleanse our system after the new year’s eve overindulgence in food and drink?

Christmas and New Year’s Eve are around the corner and that makes people be happier and entails a growing number of celebrations, dinner invitations, as well as the increase of toxins level in our organism and our bodyweight. These festivities are accompanied by hyper caloric food and drink that make us accumulate fat, sugar, alcohol, cholesterol and uric acid, which represent risk or aggravating factors for such diseases as high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, heart conditions and circulatory disorders. This is all joined by physical and mental exhaustion, as a result of the lack of dream hours and the stress brought about by the different engagements we want to fulfill.

That’s the reason why, once these days are gone, it’s vital for us to take measures in an effort to prevent and/or minimize the damage our health might suffer. The steps to be taken can be summarized with three utmost aspects: diet, physical activity and dream.
