DAY 1 HAVANA
Arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Schedule according to flight. Accommodation and dinner.

DAY 2 HAVANA
Breakfast. Informative meeting, departure from the hotel to visit colonial Havana, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Walking tour through the historic center, its squares, fortresses and buildings built by the Spaniards between the 16th and 19th centuries, with opportunities for the purchase of handicrafts. In transit, visit to La Bodeguita del Medio and grand tour around Old Havana’s main streets and avenues. Stop at the Capitol. Lunch (one drink included) in a local restaurant. Continuation of the tour with panoramic view from the University of Havana and stop at the Revolution Square, with plenty of photo ops. Return to the hotel. The Tropicana Cabaret is a nightly optional.

DAY 3 Havana-Artemisa- Pinar del Río
Departure from Havana to Pinar del Río. In transit, visit to the ruins of the Angerona Coffee Plantation, located in the Sierra del Rosario (first Biosphere Reserve). Tour around the place and continuation of the trip to Las Terrazas, arrival at Rancho Curujey information center, where a specialized guide awaits you for a grand tour around the community. Visit to the ruins of the Buena Vista coffee plantation and the San Juan River. Lunch at a local restaurant and continuation of the trip to Soroa. Visit to the orchid garden founded in 1943 by lawyer Tomas Felipe Camacho. Continuation of the trip all the way to Consolación del Sur. Arrival in Pinar del Río with panoramic views of the city. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel. Night off.

DAY 4 Pinar del Río-María la Gorda
Breakfast and departure to the Guanahacabibes Peninsula. In transit, stop at the La Guabina farmhouse, where icy juices and fruit cocktails will be served, in addition to the chance to watch a wildlife exhibition. Continuation of the trip to Cabo de San Antonio, home to the Roncali lighthouse, tour around the place and departure to María la Gorda. In transit, panoramic view on the way down to visit Cuba’s westernmost settlement. Coastal southbound trip and arrival at the María La Gorda diving facilities. Accommodation and dinner. Night off.

 

DAY 5 María la Gorda-Viñales
Breakfast and departure to Viñales. In transit, panoramic view of the city of Mantua, where the successful 19th century east-to-west invasion carried out by the Liberation Army ended came to a close. Continuation of the trip through the northern circuit, passing through the town of Santa Lucia, in the municipality Minas de Matahambre. Arrival in Viñales with visits to the Cueva del Indio and the Prehistory Mural. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, horseback ride up and down the valley. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel. Night off. Nightly visit to the Polo Montañez Nightclub is an optional.

DAY 6 Viñales-Cayo Levisa- Havana
Breakfast and departure to Palma Rubia, for a trip to Cayo Levisa, enjoyment of the beach, nautical activities and lunch on the premises. In the afternoon, return to Palma Rubia and continuation of the trip to Havana, with a panoramic view of the Mariel Special Development Zone. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7 HAVANA-MATANZAS
Breakfast and departure to Matanzas. In transit, panoramic visit to the town of Hershey, where the former Camilo Cienfuegos sugar mill –popularly known as Central de Hershey and built by American tycoon Milton S. Hershey (1857-1945)- stands. Cuban sugar produced here in the past used to be shipped to Mr. Hershey’s Pennsylvania-based chocolate factory. Photo ops and lunch at the Hershey’s gardens. Continuation of the trip to Matanzas, a city known as the “Athens of Cuba.” Stop at the Bacunayagua Watch Point, more photo ops, time for delicious piña colada and continuation of the trip to Matanzas. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 8 MATANZAS-VARADERO
Breakfast and departure for a grand tour around the city of Matanzas, with a visit to the San Carlos Cathedral, the Sauto Theater and the pharmaceutical museum. On the way to the Varadero peninsula, a visit to the Bella Mar Caves. Check in at a local all-inclusive hotel.

DAY 9 VARADERO-GIRÓN-VARADERO
Breakfast and departure to Playa Girón, in-transit stopover at the Fiesta Campesina roadside cafeteria and bar right on the National Highway. Visit to the Crocodile Farm, boat ride down the Laguna del Tesoro (Treasure Lagoon) and visit to the replica of a Taino Village. Lunch. Beach time in the Caribbean Sea. In the afternoon, return to the spa, visit to the Oscar Maria de Rojas Museum in the city of Cárdenas. Return to the hotel and night off.

DAY 10 VARADERO-AIRPORT
Arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Schedule according to flight. Accommodation and dinner.
