The tasting alliance between habanos and Chianti wines during the 17th Habano Festival kicked off with Le Hoyo, a scented, mild-tasting cigar that made a perfect match with the Chianti Colli Florentini DOCG «Castelvecchio»2011, and with the Chianti DOCG Riserva «Vigna54» 2012. For the intense and mild taste of Montecristo, the right match was the Chianti Superiore DOCG «Cerretello» 2011 and the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva «Lastricato» 2010.
